Richard D. Crosby III, COL ( R ), age 57 of Woodbridge VA passed away May 10, 2008 after a long illness. Ric retired from the U.S. Army, Infantry and was a Virginia State Employee. He is survived by his wife of 29 years Dee Dee Crosby, his son Richard D. Crosby IV, daughter and son-in-law Andrea and Aaron Young, his grandson Mason Crosby Young, parents COL ( R ) and Mrs. Richard D. Crosby Jr., brothers Dr. Michael Crosby and LTC Jonathan Crosby, sister Jennifer McCormick and numerous nieces and nephews. Ric will always be remembered for his humor along with his love for his family. God and Country. Family will receive friends on May 17, 2008 from 6 to 8pm at Miller Funeral Home, 3200 Golansky Blvd., Woodbridge, VA 22192 and again July 27, 2008 from 6 to 8pm. Funeral service will be held at 8:45am, Monday, July 28, 2008 at Fort Myer Old Post Chapel interment Arlington National Cemetery where Full Military Honors will be rendered.
